Tammy has over 10 years of experience as an Office Administrator, with much of that time spent supporting children on the autism spectrum. She’s known for her approachable personality and strong communication with both parents and children.
From the moment someone walks in, Tammy brings a positive attitude and is always ready to help. Her knowledge and compassion help create a smooth and welcoming experience for families.
Outside of work, Tammy enjoys spending time with her family, her friends, and Loki—her son’s Siberian husky. She loves going for walks, camping, concerts, and reading a good book in her downtime.
Michelle completed her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at UBC and has been working with children with special needs since June 2022. Her passion for helping children thrive continues to grow as she sees their progress firsthand. This experience has inspired her to pursue a future in the healthcare field.
Michelle brings care and energy to her work, always focused on encouraging growth and connection. She believes in creating an environment where children feel supported and confident.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys shopping and going for long runs to unwind and stay active.
Kiran is an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Thinking Tree Therapy with a background in Kinesiology, TESOL, and Sport Science. With about three years of experience as a community support worker, she has worked with children with special needs in both individual and group settings.
Her work focuses on increasing independence and improving quality of life through patient, goal-driven support. Kiran brings a thoughtful and hands-on approach, aiming to build trusting relationships and meaningful progress.
She is passionate about learning and continues to grow her skills. Outside of work, she enjoys embroidery, dancing, and taking long walks.
Preety Sian holds a degree in Psychology with a minor in Health Science from Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Over the past four years, she has worked with children in clinics, community programs, and home-based sessions.
She’s passionate about creating supportive, meaningful experiences for the children and families she works with. In addition to her clinical experience, Preety has volunteered in care homes and at Surrey Memorial Hospital, supporting neurodivergent children and individuals with disabilities.
Her dedication to helping children thrive continues to grow as she finds fulfillment in making a positive difference in their lives.
Dorothy Baron is passionate about supporting her community through education and care. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Practical Theology with a focus on Psychology at Columbia Bible College and plans to build a career in family and marriage therapy. She also studied Foundations in Health Studies at Langara College, which strengthened her interest in holistic well-being.
From 2016 to 2024, Dorothy worked as a tutor at Kumon, supporting children with special needs and learning differences. She focused on helping students develop confidence and overcome academic challenges. She has also served as a youth intern and assistant worship coordinator at her church, creating welcoming spaces and encouraging leadership.
Dorothy is adaptable, creative, and committed to empowering those she works with.
Pooja has over nine years of experience working with children with special needs. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and a Diploma in Kinesiology, with elective courses in Child Psychology.
Her interest in this field began during her studies, where she volunteered at a children’s camp focused on adaptive play and sensory activities. Since then, she has worked with children of varying abilities, creating therapy plans that support motor skills, cognitive growth, and social development.
Pooja believes in a play-based approach that builds confidence and independence. She works closely with families and teams to ensure each child gets personalized, supportive care.
